What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position at Thibodaux Regional Health System?
Responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and related techniques producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. Graduate of a school of nuclear medicine tech program.
Previous Experience:
1. Prior experience preferred.
Other Special Training/Skills:
- Ability to operate nuclear medicine equipment, manage patient case, follow oral and written instructions.
Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.:
- Certification by ARRT in radiology and nuclear medicine and/or Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) required.
- Current and valid Louisiana credentials by the Louisiana Board of Radiology is required as a Radiologic Technologist and a Nuclear Med Tech – or- can also be licensed as only a Nuclear Med Tech.
