What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Supervisor position at Thibodaux Regional Health System?
Ensures the safety and security of all patients, visitors, employees, medical staff, and property of Thibodaux Regional Health System. Helps foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere among security officers and staff, ensuring that all assigned duties and responsibilities are effectively carried out. Responsible for assisting the Director of Security as needed in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous Experience:
- One of the following is required:
- Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field
- Four years of active duty military service, with honorable discharge
- A minimum one year of law enforcement experience
- A minimum five years of security experience
- At least one year of supervisory experience is required.
Other Special Training/Skills/Licenses:
1. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
2. Valid driver’s license required.
