The Finance Coordinator will serve as a key member of our operations team, managing day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, attorney compensation calculations, and other essential financial functions. This role requires a self-starter with strong financial acumen, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and budgeting tools using QuickBooks Online
• Process firm accounts payable and manage expense payments to vendors and service providers
• Handle semi-monthly payroll processing
• Calculate attorney compensation based on firm-specific metrics
• Track firm expenses and provide monthly reporting to the Executive Director and shareholder attorneys
• Assist in annual budget development, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis
• Coordinate with external accountants and tax professionals for compliance and filings
• Support internal financial audits and assist in refining firm financial procedures
• Maintain meticulous financial records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Assist Billing Coordinator with invoice preparation and management of other billing-related functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with firm billing protocols.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
• Exceptional understanding of financial processes and mathematical calculations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A full-time, in-person role is required (at the firm’s office in Greenville, SC).
