Description:
The Junior Financial System Analyst will work closely with and support a team of Journeyman and Senior System and Financial Analysts to provide business process and financial system analyst support to the Military Health System. As a key member of Health Affairs Functional Champion, the Junior Financial Systems Analyst works locally with an onsite team based in Falls Church, VA area to support the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) deployment, which includes data collection and conversion, metrics, monitoring, reporting, and business requirements. They must have strong communication skills as they will manage data for up to 80 locations at a time and as such must be proficient in both Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Two positions are immediately available, and the start date is set once all onboarding requirements are met including security clearance application or validation. Interviews to begin within one week after announcement. Announcement will close when positions are filled.

Requirements:
Required
- Applicant MUST be U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret-level clearance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task/manage multiple priorities.
- Education plus experience at time of application:
- Bachelor's Degree; or
- Associate Degree and 4 or more years experience; or
- High School Diploma and 6 or more years experience
Preferred
- Have a background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field.
- Financial Management experience in a Federal Government office.
- Have an understanding of Army financial business processes.
- Experience utilizing various Federal Government or Department of Defense financial systems, preferably General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
