About the Role
Casetext is seeking an Attorney Product Specialist to join our Trust & Reliability Team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2–3 years of practice experience, either within a law firm or an in-house setting. As part of the team, they'll play a key role in upholding the reliability and value of CoCounsel, the world's first AI legal assistant, under the umbrella of our Product Management Organization.
The Attorney Product Specialist will be responsible for providing valuable feedback on CoCounsel's applications. Collaborating closely with Casetext's team of engineers and data scientists, their insights will be instrumental in optimizing CoCounsel's industry-leading platform. Their contributions will further impact Casetext's mission of delivering unparalleled value to the world's top law firms and in-house legal departments worldwide. This role demands subject matter expertise in legal practice complemented by a strong aptitude for technology, especially in the domain of generative artificial intelligence.
This role is entirely remote, but the successful candidate will be based in and authorized to work in the U.S.
As an Attorney Product Specialist, You Will:
- Forecast and create practical use cases for lawyers leveraging the CoCounsel platform.
- Monitor and evaluate CoCounsel's continuing performance to inform Casetext's technical experts.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of guidance documents for key clients and internal staff.
- Identify innovative pathways for applying generative AI within legal practice.
- Become a subject matter expert on legal prompt engineering.
- Occasionally work with Business Development & Sales on the preparation of pitch materials.

Experience
- Juris Doctor and Bar Admission (any jurisdiction) required.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of practice experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
- Computer proficient with a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Substantial experience using a variety of online legal research and practice tools (e.g., Westlaw, Practical Law, Lexis, Casetext, Relativity, Intelligize, Everlaw, etc.).
- Federal civil litigation experience is preferred.
- Demonstrable experience with generative artificial intelligence applications is a plus.

The pay rate that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $40-45hr USD
