Job Title: Graphic Designer

Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 1 Year
Location: North Haven, CT 06473
Shift: On-site (4 days per week)
Work Mode: Hybrid (onsite-heavy)

Top Priorities:

1. Create and update package labeling artwork
2. Follow brand guidelines and standard processes strictly
3. Perform proofing and validation of package artwork

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)

Experience Required:

• 1–2 years in graphic design or related field
• Experience with labeling in medical device or regulated industries preferred
• Strong design production and artwork proofing experience

Core Responsibilities:

• Design packaging/product artwork for Surgical Package Labeling Operations Innovation Group
• Develop labels, lidstock, display box artwork, and ensure compliance with design standards
• Verify vendor proofs and apply corrections as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for artwork clarity and approval
• Support formal artwork approvals and maintain related documentation
• Design graphics that align with customer and business needs
• Provide web artwork and potentially manage reproduction/printing processes
• Manage multiple design projects while adhering to tight deadlines
• Communicate artwork requirements effectively with internal teams

Skills Required:

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Skilled in proofing and preparing artwork for print
• Understanding of label printing applications
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and attention to detail
• Proficient in Mac OS
• Familiar with Microsoft Office
• Ability to collaborate with marketing, engineering, and manufacturing teams
