What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPC Resident in Counseling position at Thriveworks?
At Thriveworks, we're transforming mental health care with a movement that's growing a practice and supporting clinicians. As a provisionally licensed individual pursuing LPC licensure in Virginia, you'll provide telehealth and face-to-face sessions, working 30 hours a week with 25 client visits and 5 hours of administrative time.

Must reside within 45 minutes of the office location, working in-office for the probationary period and then transitioning to a hybrid model (50% in-office, 50% remote). Requirements include:
- A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
- Approved by the board as a Resident in Counseling
- Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety
- Graduate or post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor (preferred)
