POSITION PURPOSE
Enrollment of students who meet the admissions criteria and can benefit from the academic programs offered. The Admissions Representative is expected to maintain the top enrollment standard student starts and be the leader in this area. The Admissions Representative must set the positive example of personal production performance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide outstanding customer service to prospective students who have expressed an interest in our programs through consistent and effective outreach
- Interview prospective students to discuss and explain the programs offered in line with the student’s interests and career goals
- Assist students with the complete enrollment process, paperwork, and getting started in school
- Work inquiries generated by our corporate Advertising Department in an effective and timely manner
- Build relationships by nurturing personally developed leads and referrals
- May develop work schedule in order to attend out of school events such as Career Fairs
- Complete the Admissions (Blue Folder) using the Student File checklist and Document Track and Scan all required documents as indicated on the checklist into CampusVue. This includes securing high school/GED graduation verification
- Report all recruitment activity daily to the Campus Director of Admissions
- Attend admissions meetings and training sessions as scheduled
- Meet with the Campus Director of Admissions to review the media calendar to be prepared for inquiry flow
- Comply with the Admissions Policy and Procedure and the policies of regulatory bodies
- Admissions Representatives are non-exempt employees and are required to work flexible hours. Admission Representatives will be required to occasionally work early evenings and Saturday hours in order to fulfill the responsibilities of the position
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Admissions
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, or equitable on-the-job experience required
- Associates Degree with at least one year of admissions or related experience preferred
Experience/Skills
- Experience working in a campus environment desirable
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Effective multi-tasking and time management skills
- A result-oriented, quick-thinking organized approach to make things happen
- Sales/Customer Service experience preferred
- Good computer skills, (Word, Excel, Outlook); CampusVue experience a plus
- Ability and willingness to work some evenings and weekends

Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour
