What You’ll Do:
- Respond to Crisis: Be the first line of support for individuals in crisis, offering immediate emotional and psychological assistance, assessment, and intervention.
- Empower and Guide: Provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to process their emotions and experiences while guiding them toward practical solutions and long-term mental wellness.
- Collaborate with a Team: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, law enforcement, and community partners to ensure the highest standard of care during critical moments.
- Assess and Plan: Utilize your expertise to assess the severity of crises, develop personalized intervention strategies, and connect individuals with ongoing support resources.
- Navigate Challenges with Grace: Manage high-stress situations with poise and professionalism, ensuring that each individual receives the best possible care despite the unpredictability of a crisis.

About Tillamook Family Counseling Center: At Tillamook Family Counseling Center, we pride ourselves on our strong team-oriented approach to providing immediate and effective mental health services to the rural community of Tillamook County. Our team works collaboratively to support individuals during their most vulnerable times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive crisis intervention.

- Supportive Network: Build and maintain a supportive network that ensures the delivery of coordinated care during crises.
Required Qualifications:

- Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Active state licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working in mental health crisis intervention or a related field.
- Ability to assess and intervene in crisis situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex cases in high-pressure situations.
