Summary:

Accounting Assistant - Titan Farmsis seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position will provide direct support to the Lead Accountant and will be responsible for preparing weekly cash flows and will assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial records. This is an entry level accounting position that offers ample growth opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Prepare weekly cash flow report for use by management
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Assist with monthly and year-end close and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Respond to information requests and assist with audits
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and protection of company assets
• Perform special accounting projects or ad hoc duties as required by Controller
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, and work procedures
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Effective knowledge of general accounting principles
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
• Strong organizational skills, deadline, and detail oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Self-motivated and self-directed problem solver
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar degree preferred
• Experience in Famous Software is preferred.
