What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at TMS International?

Schedule: 8 or 12 hour shifts. Must be able to work days and nights
Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities
- 2-3 years experience operating heavy equipment preferred, willing to train as needed
- Experience working in a steel mill/ industrial environment preferred
- Performs daily checks on equipment to ensure proper operating condition
- Performs all work adhering to OSHA and TMS Safety policies
- Ability to work night shift.
- Looking for a self-motivated team player
- Must be willing to perform light maintenance of equipment, fueling, greasing and equipment housekeeping etc.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
