Who we’re looking for Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina’s (TBMNC) Quality Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Quality Engineer. The primary responsibility of this role is ensuring all processes are managed / operating within the set process control requirements, completing detailed analysis of any cells / modules that fallout of the control limits. Reporting to the Quality Control Manager the person in this role will support the quality control department's objective to support the manufacturing team in producing the highest quality product to exceed our customer’s expectations. What you’ll be doing Support / Set strategic direction to ensure our in-house processes meet all design/process control specifications to ensure TBMNC’s product exceeds our customer’s expectations. Support the creation and execution of quality hoshin to support the achievement of company KPI. Lead creation, standardization, execution, and sustainment of quality management systems (ISO/IATF, 3 Pillar, etc.) Collaborate closely with other groups to promote a strong kaizen culture to ensure customer expectations are exceeded. What you bring 3 years of quality engineering or process engineering experience. Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent technical degree. Strong communication & visualization skills. Ability to create and execute strategic direction. Technical problem-solving ability (PDCA, RC/CM, TBP). Added bonus if you have Battery Manufacturing experience. ISO 9001 Certified Auditor. 3 Pillar Assessor Certification. Cross-functional work experience (Quality, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance). Cross-functional collaboration (UTC, SOAR, etc.). 3 Pillar management/execution experience.
