Salary: $95,000-$115,000/annual
Schedule: Monday–Friday with availability for overtime, extended shifts, and occasional weekend or holiday work
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing team committed to continuous improvement and exceptional product quality. This role is responsible for driving quality assurance efforts, managing compliance, and supporting manufacturing teams in achieving company and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support quality assurance initiatives across the production process.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Maintain compliance with ISO and customer-specific quality standards.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to develop control plans and inspection standards.
- Support the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.
- Train operators and staff on quality procedures and process improvements.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits as required.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics and trends.
- Evaluate suppliers and participate in supplier quality improvement initiatives.
- Analyze root causes of defects and lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving efforts.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Interface with customers regarding product quality issues and resolution.
- Support launch activities for new products or processes.
- Collaborate in the development of test methods and inspection techniques.
- Ensure timely completion of quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Champion continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, 5 Whys, and Fishbone Diagrams.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
- Minimum [insert years] of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g., SPC, MSA, CAPA, PPAP).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 standards.

- Proficiency in quality-related software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in Six Sigma, CQE, or similar credentials is a plus.
