What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista and Cashier position at Together Cafe?
Together Cafe is looking for a barista, cashier and/or cook who is well-spoken, energetic, kind, and a fast learner. We have a family-oriented work environment at our Salisbury, Maryland needs individuals who are motivated to spread love, authenticity, kindness, and wonderful coffee / food to every customer. We have part-time positions available.
- Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders
- Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones
- Preparing and serving food items such as soups, sandwiches and pastries
- Answering customers’ questions about menu choices
- Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
- Taking payment from customers
- Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs
- Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
- Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
- Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.50 per hour
