GENERAL PURPOSE
Maintains the sanitation of the kitchen and necessary equipment for the safe operation of the food service department. Ensures local, state and federal requirements are met. Assists as needed with preparation of meals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: In addition to performing Essential Functions, this position may be required to perform a combination
of supportive functions based upon the requirements of the organization.
1. Buses tables, washes all dishes, cooking utensils and silverware in accordance with necessary requirements
2. Assists in the sanitation of the kitchen, including walls, floors, drains, serving carts and other equipment necessary for the
Sanitary operation of the kitchen
3. Maintains cleanliness of dining room, serving area and beverage area
4. Assists cooks with preparation and serving of meals, as needed
5. Fulfill jobs as assigned and/or cleaning schedule
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
