Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Geotechnical Engineer for the Houston office. The successful candidate will be trained in the execution of geotechnical projects within the Houston-area with clients including the commercial/retail/professional and land development markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute geotechnical engineering project assignments.
- Field work assignments in support of geotechnical projects.
- Work with and support engineering staff
- Geotechnical laboratory assignments and coordination.
- Engineering analyses for report preparation.
- Maintain client expectations for project quality and schedule.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, with Masters Level in geotechnical optional.
- Active EIT Certification or ability to obtain in near future.
- Ability to learn tasks such as field and laboratory data collection, technical proposals, engineering analyses, and report writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills..
