Responsibilities:
- Create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events
- Assist customers in selecting the right flowers and arrangements for their needs
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and supplies
- Arrange and display flowers in an aesthetically pleasing manner
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Operate cash register and process transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral department
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in floral design or related field preferred
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and floral arrangements
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online flower orders
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions
- Multilingual skills are a plus, but not required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Experience operating a cash register is preferred, but training can be provided
