Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist controls the outflow and inflow of the tool crib / company store inventory, is responsible for cycle counting and leads the investigation when discrepancies are found to ensure optimal inventory is available.
This is a 3rd shift position; the schedule for this role is Sunday through Thursday, 9:30PM to 6:00AM.
This position will have to train on first or second shift hours (up to 90 days). Please keep this in mind as you apply.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

Understand and adhere to all safety requirements. Communicate identified risks to leadership and assist in resolution.

Complete all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment for you and your team members.

Follow process documentation to control the inflow and outflow of material inventory. Utilize ERP system to keep physical inventory factors aligned with system inventory data.

Perform stocking, organizing and storage/put-away activities to ensure inventory is available and ready for use.

Complete inventory counts per a defined schedule and supplies inventory adjustment feedback to the Warehouse Manager based on results of inventory counts.

Assist in investigation of found inventory discrepancies and shortages to determine root cause and execute corrective action process.

Assist Warehouse Manager in maintenance of inventory control metrics.

Work with buyers and requisition team to resolve delivery discrepancies, quality issues and returns.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Contribute to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct. Maintain a positive attitude, display enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicate effectively and professionally with team members.

Demonstrate flexibility of schedule when pursuing training opportunities to achieve personal and company objectives.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.

Procurement, Inventory Control or Manufacturing experience beneficial.

Understanding of inventory control methods and techniques beneficial.
Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools, primarily Microsoft Excel & Outlook.

Obtaining forklift certification is required. Tosoh will supply training.

Basic analytical and mathematical skills required.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk, sit and stand for extended periods.

Able to lift 30 lbs.

Wear personal protective equipment as required.
