Care Agency Seeking Weekend Direct Support Professionals
Total Living Concept (TLC) is searching for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide care for adults with developmental disabilities. Qualifications:
· At least 18 years old
· Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
· HS diploma or GED
· Must pass a criminal background check
· Prior professional experience with individuals with disabilities is desired but not a requirement
Expectations:
· Support people to be actively involved in their communities
· Facilitate the making/ or maintaining of relationships with family and friends
· Provide support for medical and health needs
· Assistance in daily living including cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc.
· Assistance as needed depending on the individual in physical transfers using appropriate equipment
· Communicate respectfully, in a positive and professional manner
· Assistance as needed on individual basis in personal hygiene
· Occasional on the job driving may be required
We Provide:
- We pay 150% of your hourly rate for working on these major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas
- Higher starting wages with experience and state mandated training requirements already met prior to hire
- Paid training at your regular pay rate after hire, including 1st Aid & CPR, DDA approved CORE training, Nurse Delegation and annual required continuing education credits
- HCA/CNA/NAR registration fee assistance; we pay a portion of the annual cost
- Mileage reimbursement for on the job driving
- Paid vacation and sick leave for FT employees working 30 or more regular weekly hours; PT employees receive sick leave

- $600 hiring bonus for full-time new hires; $300 for part-time new hires
- Earn $100 for each employee referred after hire
