What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Hockey Instructor position at Town of Greenwich?
Assist the Field Hockey Directors with instruction, organization, set-up, clean-up and other duties as assigned.
Provide positive instruction and guidance to young players.
Conduct field hockey drills, demonstrate skills, and organize and officiate games.
Role model and implement good sportsmanship.
Ensure that all equipment is set-up and removed before and after each session.
Season runs: 8 weeks, beginning early September
4 – 8 hours per week
Games/practices are on Sunday mornings/afternoons and Wednesday early evenings
Returning seasonal employees may have preference to the position
Must have knowledge of the game and have either played or coached and must be at least 16 years of age.
