What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Site Supervisor - Beaches position at Town of Greenwich?
This position is responsible for supervising and working alongside the Beach Crew and is key point-person for quality control and addressing escalated issues or matters. It includes but is not limited to, staffing, training, scheduling, time keeping, supervising and team building. Reports to the Marine Operations Manager – MF&O.
Qualifications:
Proven supervisory skills.
Proven ability to work independently and make decisions in-line with Town policies and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to deal tactfully with the public.
Must be able to perform physical requirements of position related to maintaining the beaches.Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates and supervises the functions of the Beach Crew at the assigned facility.
Trains and directs the Beach Crew and other positions as assigned, ensuing that work meets quality standards and being performed efficiently.
Performs all work listed in the job descriptions for the Beach Crew and the Site Supervisor – Beaches positions.
Assists the Foreman/Caretaker with setting up the work schedules of the Beach Crew.
Actively seeks better and more cost-effective ways of performing work.
Communicates daily with on location foreman, caretakers, beach managers, and pool managers regarding matters involving the Beach Crew.
Performs other related work as assigned.
