The Town of Jackson is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team. Salary range: $146,000 - $187,000 DOQ. Under the direction of the Town Manager: provides leadership, strategic direction, supervision of assigned departments and employees; support, advice, and technical expertise to the Town Manager; and assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the Town. Conducts research, prepares reports, makes recommendations, and executes directives on complex issues and community initiatives. Must be well-organized, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid supervisory experience, and proud to adhere to the Town’s core values. Minimum qualifications: An undergraduate degree (graduate degree preferred) in business administration, public administration, or closely related field; 5 years of progressively responsible experience in one of those disciplines with 3 of those years serving in a leadership/supervisory role as general manager/executive director, deputy manager/department director or similar level of leadership responsibilities, resort community experience preferred. Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills will be considered.
