TELECOMMUNICATIONS DISPATCHER.
The Town of Jupiter Island, Florida is looking for a Telecommunications Dispatcher. A Public Safety Dispatcher (“Dispatcher”) specializes in all areas of communication related to the Town of Jupiter Island’s (“Town”) Public Safety Department’s police, fire, and medical assistance. The Dispatcher is a position requiring analytical ability and the ability to work under pressure. It involves collecting, organizing, retrieving, and interpreting sensitive information, typing, computer operation and maintenance of various records and files as required during a duty shift. The position is an hourly, non-FLSA exempt position. Experience as a Telecommunications Dispatcher is preferred. The job description is linked under the title.
