This is a seasonal supervisory, administrative, technical, and customer service position that involves overseeing the safe and effective operation of the AV Symington Aquatic Center. Work includes administrative and personnel functions, supervision of all on-duty personnel, cash handling, lifesaving assistance, ensuring the safe use of the pool facilities, and safeguarding the conduct of pool patrons as well as responsibilities for security checks, maintaining records, facility maintenance, and enforcing established policies and procedures.
- Minimum 18 years of age; high school graduate with at least two (2) years of responsible work in the aquatic facility industry.
- Prior cash handling and customer service experience.
- Demonstrated high levels of maturity, decision making, responsibility, and strong leadership skills.
- Must hold current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, and Certified Pool Operator or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of two (2) or more full years of lifeguarding experience.
- Lifeguard Instructor Certification.
