What are the responsibilities and job description for the FALL - Pee Wee Sports Instructor position at Town of Normal?
Normal Parks & Rec is looking for youth sports coaches to help with a PE-Styled Pee Wee sports program. Pee Wee All Sports is for participants ages 3-5 that are introduced to a variety of today's most popular sports. Participants learn basic skills through fun activities and games in a six-week program covering Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Football and Volleyball.
The program meets on Saturday mornings from 9am-12pm.
FALL SESSION - Oct. 26 - Nov. 23
-Follow weekly practice plans
-Instructing groups of children (Ages 3-5) on new games and activities while also ensuring participants have fun.
-Care of supplies and equipment provided by NPRD-Must be able to demonstrate proper techniques to participants
-Basic Knowledge of most sports including Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Football, Hockey, Volleyball
-Must enjoy working with young children
-Must be outgoing and able to lead
Preferred age is 16 years and older. Exceptions can be made for applicants with prior coaching and/or playing experience.
Salary : $14 - $15
