What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volleyball Site Coordinator position at Town of Normal?
The position will be responsible for helping supervise and coordinate coaches upon site location. Communication between coaches, site coordinator and recreation supervisor will be maintained through this position.
Site Coordinator will oversee the following programs and keep location on time, help with communication, traffic and checking on coach's needs.
Site Coordinator will enforce gym and program rules with all players, coaches and spectators.
Position Begins October 3 - November 18
-Coordinating and communicating with Coaches/Instructors as well Rec Supervisor
-Communicating information to parents on a regular basis
-Enforcing program rules
-Care of supplies and equipment
-Hours: 10-12 Weekly
Tuesday and Thursday Evenings: 5:00p-7:45pm x6 Weeks
Saturday Mornings 8:30a-1:30pm x6 Weeks-Knowledge on Volleyball rules, etiquette, and program procedures preferred
-Must be able to communicate with spectators, coaches and participants upon arrival
- Direct coaches, participants and spectators to gym locations
-Enforce program and gym policies and rules
-Must be outgoing and able to lead, stay in constant communication with program supervisor
Previous Volleyball Experience preferred.
Previous Supervisory Experience preferred.
