Accounting Clerk

Job Summary:
The Accounting Clerk at Toyota of North Miami is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the accounting department. This individual will effectively manage and maintain financial records, invoices, and other related documents in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly administrative position in the automotive industry. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary based on their experience and qualifications. Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain daily sales and service transactions in the dealership's accounting system
- Verify and reconcile invoices and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely payments
- Assist in preparing and distributing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, on a weekly and monthly basis
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Manage accounts receivable and collections processes
- Maintain and file financial documents and records in an organized and secure manner
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Perform general administrative duties, such as answering phone calls and emails, filing, and data entry as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
