Duties & Responsibility
- The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring that all Repair Orders for maintenance follows company technical standards and relevant regulatory regulations.
- Generation of repair orders for maintenance required on components, received into TP Aerospace for maintenance
- Respond to Repair Order deficiencies which arise.
- Amending the repair orders to correctly reflect the work required.
- Working closely with the Technical Services Engineer to ensure accurate and timely creation of repair order.
- Review completed work order against applicable repair to determine completeness of work
- Provide the MRO daily with the quoter of repair orders to perform a full day’s work, 24 hours before hand.
- Follow up on open work orders status through production, on hold units.
- Follow up on status of shop Floor reports (SFR)
- Liaise with the Production Manager/Shop Supervisor on any issues related to errors on repair orders
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering or equivalent.
- Relevant aeronautical product maintenance experience of more than two years or holds and A &P or Airmen certificate.
- Ability to analyze and format information.
- Relevant experience in Quality or technical capacity in the Aerospace industry.
- English proficiency both spoken and written.
- Strong computer (soft) skills including full Micro Office Suite, to include MS Project, and MS SharePoint (knowledge of quantum control would be an advantage).
- The maintenance Planner will have held responsible positions for two years in a Part 145 maintenance / repair activity.
