About the Position: We are seeking a highly self-motivated, self-directed, branch based, Out of Territory Sales Representative to cover a major portion of the Continental US and international territories to sell used machinery. A bilingual (Spanish) candidate is preferred. You will be contacting customers electronically to grow market share by actively renting/selling/leasing and promoting the entire used product line. Less than 5% travel. The successful candidate must be able communicate to customers all applicable products and programs, including financial and merchandising plans, handle customer concerns quickly through proper channels. Must demonstrate administrative requirements to complete appropriate paperwork, log and input data, conduct trade inspections, manage expenses, follow leads and understand and follow policies. Ideal candidate will professionally represent the company by continuing industry education and attending meetings, by coordinating with member companies, other departments and fellow employees. Appropriate presentation at all levels is expected. You will report directly to the General Manager for Used Equipment – HGI. It will be very important for you to promote and adhere to strict safety standards and maintain company assets in good condition.
Qualifications & Experience Needed: We are looking for candidates that have strong PC skills with MS Office, knowledge of heavy equipment, general understanding of the sales process. BA/BS preferred. Sales experience highly desirable. Must have strong pioneering sales skills and an outgoing personality in person, online and verbally over the phone and possess a valid driver's license.
