Overview
Traditions of America, a national leader in the development of 55 lifestyle communities, seeks an experienced, ambitious attorney to join our management team as Associate General Counsel. This position, at the firm’s headquarters in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, involves assisting the General Counsel in all legal aspects of our business. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to support the General Counsel in a range of areas. This is a unique opportunity to work in-house and develop legal skills. General experience in real estate and real estate law is a requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting General Counsel with litigation and general corporate legal matters
- Drafting of corporate documentation, including transactional documents and Homeowner Association (HOA) legal documentation
- Assisting General Counsel with municipal approvals and negotiation of municipal agreements
- Supporting the execution of land transactions, financings, and related settlements, including the legal matters arising therefrom
- Occasional travel required
Experience and Education:
- Minimum 2 years of real estate experience; construction law experience preferred
- Excellent drafting, critical thinking, and negotiating skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively and engage in multiple projects simultaneously
License:
- PA Bar, required
Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
