- This poisition requires experience in Thermo King or Carrier refrigeration units!!
- As a Reefer Mechanic, you will perform all levels of maintenance services, with the primary focus on refrigeration units such as Thermo King commerical refrigeration equipment designed for commercial trucks and trailers.
- Be able to test lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic test equipment
- Read complex schematics associated with refrigeration equipment
- Identify warrantable repairs and document orders
- Provide additional support regarding preventative maintenance and tractor trailer maintenance as required
- Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
- Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
- Perform system repairs to include engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive-train, steering and suspension, electrical and A/C.
- Up to $41depending on experience and skill set
- Class A or B License Preferred

Job Requirements
Reefer Mechanic Requirements
- CDL A license *** Required***
- Reefer experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Basic math skills
- Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience as a diesel mechanic
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- Own set of tools
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds
- A clean PSP/MVR
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency with MS Office and TMT
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
