Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic at Interstate Waste Services, Inc. located in Old Bridge, NJ. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and ensuring the proper functionality of equipment on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment maintenance skills
- Experience in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
- Certification in Diesel Technology or related field
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training preferred
