We are looking for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of tasks, including preparing patients for exams, operating ultrasound equipment, and reporting findings to medical staff.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as excellent communication skills. As a US Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and thorough patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Educate patients and/or their families regarding procedures performed
- Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe areas of concern
- Prepare exam rooms for examinations and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures
- Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- BLS certification
- ARDMS National Certification
- State-specific licensing when required
Salary : $15,700 - $22,200
