About the Position:
As the Group Sales Coordinator, you will be working closely with our Sales Team, and reporting to the Revenue Manager to maintain and administer all correspondence and operational needs for groups of all sizes. Our ideal candidate should be self-motivated, customer-focused, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills. This position requires a high degree of computer literacy, a willingness to learn new processes, previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a sales position, and a willingness to work with a fun and dynamic team.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:

Manage group block inventory and room reservations, generate rooming lists and/or group forms as needed.

Review all contracts to ensure the accuracy of rates, dates, billing and inventory levels as well as accurate data input in Delphi, Host, Club Prophet, and other advanced booking systems.

Assist with addendums, contract adjustments, monitor and provide excellent communication for advance payments, accurately update the group sales calendar, and work with the Conference Services team for all group resume updates.

Track and report advance payment deadlines, adhere to company policies and procedures for maintaining guest contact, and coordinate with all group leaders.

Answer all sales inquiries, transferring new groups to the appropriate Sales Manager, and maintain all guest profiles.

Staying up to date with the resort events, hours, amenities, etc., as well as our local area, to provide professional and knowledgeable insight into various guest inquiries.

Display effective computer literacy and be familiar with MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

At least 1 year of previous experience working in a similar position (preferably in sales or reservations).

Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business contracts.

Strong mathematical and computer skills, and previous experience using Microsoft Windows and Office.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, follow instructions while working independently, highly organized, and solution minded positive attitude.
