Field Application Engineer Position Summary
Provide engineering and operational support to the sales group and customers. Duties include project management, product support, system-level development, and quotations. Employee will strive to satisfy the needs of customers with on time delivery and continuous improvement in quality, products and services.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Field Applicaiton Engineer
- Travel to meet with clients, as needed. (<10%)
- Duties include, but are not limited to: project management, system level development, quoting, part creation, bill of material creation, bill of material maintenance, oversight of prototype material delivery and assembly, and customer support.
- System compatibility and compliance testing.
- Add & maintain client / program information as needed in HubSpot CRM.
- Willingness to quickly respond to inbound client communication through contact requests, or product inquiries.
- Coordinate between sales and the other departments within Trenton regarding projects, customer requirements, potential orders, existing orders, technical status, etc.
- Work to resolve product and process issues with prototypes and/or first production products.
- May conduct special projects as requested by Management.
- Provide general support for all sales staff.

Requirements
- BS in Systems Engineering
- 3 years’ technical knowledge of Intel based computer hardware solutions, preferably in the MIL/Aero market.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 or DO-STD-160 testing standards preferred.
- Application experience in the following: Windows Operating Systems, Word, Excel, Contact Management Software, Outlook. Experience with Linux and RTOS Operating Systems preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage numerous simultaneous projects.
