What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Project Manager position at TriCom Technical Services?
Responsibilities
- Guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services.
- Drive projects through the project lifecycle.
- Track progress, escalate issues, and coordinate resources with Management.
- Schedule, facilitate, and support all Scrum events: sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, etc.
- Maintain and publish all project artifacts including, but not limited to, release logs, issue logs, resource schedules, testing schedules, agendas, and meeting minutes.
- Anticipate, identify, and escalate risks/impediments affecting self, team, Department, or Company.
- Track and monitor team performance daily and help the team achieve their commitments; when problems are identified, work with team to develop corrective actions.
- Assist with internal and external communication; improve transparency and radiate information.
- Look for and suggest improvements in efficiencies to reduce costs; be responsible and accountable as an Employee Owner.
- 2 years of Project Management (Agile & Waterfall methodology) experience.
- Certifications for first level: CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, PSM.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or business related field.
