Software Quality Analyst

Summary

This Software Quality Analyst will conduct quality assurance testing while applying business analysis principles to ensure that the software meets business requirements. This role involves translating business processes into testable requirements and supporting Agile development processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze documentation and validate software requirements to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Apply QA and Business Analysis methodologies to translate business processes into functional requirements.
• Document test plans, test cases, and defect reports using industry-standard tools.
• Execute system, regression, and user acceptance testing while participating in Agile ceremonies.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret business processes and translate them into testable requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in Agile environments.
• Experience as a Software Quality Analyst on development projects including hands-on testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration with product owners on user stories.

• Knowledge of insurance industry operations and regulatory requirements.
  
  

This is a 12-month Contract opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.
