What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Shell Foreman position at Trinity Building and Designs?
Trinity Building and Designs, a division of Douglas Brooke Legacy is currently seeking an experienced full-time Shell Foreman. Individual must have excellent organizational skills, be honest and ethical, have the ability to be adaptable and multi-task and work as a part of a team.
The Shell Foreman will oversee all on-site structural construction, including scheduling subcontractors, resolving day to day problems on the job site, team building, training and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications for residential projects. Managing staff from production to supervisory.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Produce and maintain accurate take-offs for Concrete, Block, Beam and all Framing.
- Communicate daily with scheduling department for changes and confirmations on schedules.
- Coordinate with scheduling department for copies of plans, to distribute to trade partners as needed.
- Coordinate with and oversee all concrete and block subcontractors providing daily quality control and recording progress in Buildertrend for the scheduling department.
- Verify inspections have passed before proceeding to next phase of build cycle.
- Plan all work activities according to the current work schedule and the forecasted schedule.
- Responsible for complying with and maintaining all project safety standards.
- Responsible for equipment and required accessories for shell staff including but not limited to concrete pump, power tools and miscellaneous equipment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others at all levels while being a team player to meet daily objectives.
- Must be adaptable to changing work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Valid Clean Driver’s License.
- BuilderTrend Experience a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
