Primary Care RN | Tulsa, OK
Direct Hire | $75k - $85k annually
Duties:
- Triage face to face and by phone.
- Assess patients on acute same-day visits
- Serve as backup to the MA as needed
- Medical supplies ordering
- May work with multiple providers in a clinic setting
Qualifications:
- Great phone skills (active listener, positive attitude)
- Proficient at giving advice
- Giving patients results and being able to explain so the patient understands
- Senior care
- All vitals (manually too)
- Start an IV and push fluids and antibiotics
- Communication skills- electronically as well as face to face
- Must be organized, confident, have a lot of patience (seniors are long winded and tell it to you over and over)
- Quick response skills to the providers
Education and Experience:
- AA/AS degree in Nursing required; BA/BS degree in Nursing (BSN) or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- A valid, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of employment required.
- A minimum of 5 years', current direct nursing/medical work experience required.
- Work in a community-based clinic, public health department or specialization with the senior population preferred.
- BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
- A problem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions in a matrixed organization. Proficient PC skills.
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve is helpful.
AA/AS degree in Nursing required; BA/BS degree in Nursing (BSN) or Healthcare Administration preferred

* Prescribe or recommend drugs, medical devices, or other forms of treatment, such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
* Provide health care, first aid, immunizations, or assistance in convalescence or rehabilitation in locations such as schools, hospitals, or industry.
* Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
* Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
