Position Purpose
St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced full time Floor Care Technician to join our Environmental Services Team!
What You Will Do
- Responsible for all floor care work including routine mopping (dry and damp) buffing, waxing and burnishing all hard surfaces.
- Provides floor maintenance, including but not limited to vacuuming, shampooing and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.
- Performs preventive maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use and at the end of shift.
- Provides other cleaning services such as dusting, routine restroom, offices, halls and classrooms or other duties as assigned.
- Follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times.
- Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating condition.
- Respects Hospital and Company property.
- Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
- HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
- 1 year experience (required)
- 2-4 years experience (preferred)
