- JOB SUMMARY
- The Course Instructor is a faculty member who meets the qualifications and fulfills the essential functions of the job description. The Course Instructor is academically and experimentally qualified and maintains expertise appropriate to teaching, service and scholarly responsibilities. The Course Instructor is responsible for theoretical presentations and student clinical experience instruction, implementation of the School`s mission, vision, core values/quality principles, philosophy and participation in faculty committees.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- Completion of an approved professional nursing program. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
- A baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) is required
- MSN in nursing is preferred
- Training and Experience
- Experience of at least twenty-four months in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse. Previous experience in nursing education is considered highly desirable. Continuing development of professional, personal and community interest through participation in professional and community activities.
- OB experience required
- Med/ Surg experience preferred
- Health and Background Requirements
