About the position...
The Banquet Attendant assists in setting up event site according to specifications and in tearing down after the event. This person serves food and beverage items to event guests in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner. The Banquet Attendant ensures guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.
- Prepares function site and assures meeting room is set according to specifications.
- Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
- Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas as according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) or as directed.
- Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager/supervisor.
- Sets room following a banquet function to room ready standards.
