Key Responsibilities:
Coaching and Instruction:
Assist the head coach in developing and implementing game strategies, practice plans, and drills.
Provide hands-on instruction and feedback to players during practices and games, focusing
on improving individual skills and team play.
Evaluate player performance and progress, offering constructive feedback and support.
Game Preparation and Strategy:
Collaborate with the head coach to analyze opponents and contribute to game planning.
Help organize and conduct pre-game and post-game meetings with players to review strategies and performance.
Player Development:
Mentor student-athletes both on and off the field, promoting discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Assist in monitoring academic performance and encouraging student-athletes to maintain a balanced approach to academics and athletics.
Administrative Duties:
Assist with administrative tasks such as managing equipment, coordinating travel arrangements, and maintaining records.
Support the head coach in organizing and executing team events and fundraising activities.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all practices and games adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Stay updated on the latest rules and regulations of high school football and enforce compliance among players.
Qualifications:
Previous experience playing or coaching football at the high school or collegiate level preferred.
Strong understanding of football strategies, techniques, and game rules.

CPR /First Aid Certification
