What are the responsibilities and job description for the Varsity Football, Assistant Coach position at Phillips Academy?
Phillips Academy seeks an Assistant Coach for the football program for Fall 2023.
Working alongside the varsity head coach football coach, responsibilities include developing individual skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship among student-athletes. Experience playing and/or coaching football required and experience working with high school-age students is preferred. Full background check required. Commitment is approximately 20-25 hours per week (Monday- Saturday) starting September 2, 2023 through the third week in November. Afternoon practices (3:15 – 5 p.m. as well as games, home and away, on every Saturday during fall season). This role also engages prospective student-athletes and their families through the admission process. No benefits.

- Ability to positively motivate, inspire and be role model to high-school aged students.
- Be adaptable and enjoy working alongside the current coaching staff
