Mid-Senior Systems Engineer

Description

• Development and review of engineering requirements, CONOPS, and integrated schedules
• Systems engineering analysis and process management
• Risk analysis and mitigation development

Responsibilities 

• Systems Engineering, Research, and Development, Engineering Processes
• Requirements development, derivation, verification

• Systems Engineer with DoD Acquisitions or MDA Acquisitions experience

• Risk analysis and mitigation development

• Familiarity with Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) and Systems Security Engineering (SSE) documentation

 

Requirements

• Active Secret-level security clearance or higher
• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years experience required for a mid-level position
• Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years experience required for a senior-level position
• Working proficiency with Microsoft products
• Ability to travel 15%-20%.  Contractors may expect to travel 15% to 30% of the time to various locations to include manufacturing sites, integration sites, and test sites. Locations may be within the continental United States (CONUS) or outside the continental United States (OCONUS). In addition, travel within the local area or base of assignment to attend meetings, conferences, seminars, or perform work shall be considered a cost of doing business and shall not be separately reimbursed as a travel expense. Local area travel is defined as a 50 miles radius around the duty location or designated place of performance. Travel outside a 50 miles radius is considered 'non-Local' travel and mileage is reimbursable.

• INCOSE membership (International Council on Systems Engineering)
• DAWIA Certifications (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) or coursework
