Description:
This position provides direct support to the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Interceptor Product Office (THR) as an on-site production test data analyst. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Review missile production test data and identify anomalies that could be of concern to the success of the THAAD program
- Report potential issues to the THAAD Project Office (PO) and assist the PO with resolving these issues
- Keep records of missiles reviewed and any anomalies identified. Review Flight Test Data. Identify and report potential issues to hardware subsystem leads
- Run and Maintain software tools used in the analysis
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in engineering or an engineering related field, including a good understanding and application of sound engineering principles related to component design, testing, failure investigation and risk mitigation
- 7 years of applicable, related experience in data analysis and/or production test data evaluation
- Strong computer skills: Linux operating system, Windows operating system, C/C , Mat-lab and Microsoft Office Suite of tools
- Strong written and oral communication skills including creation of briefings and presentations
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with MDA and system engineering processes
- Experience in missile system assembly, integration, and test
- Technical experience in support of the acquisition of missile systems Knowledge of hazardous operations (Ordnance, Lifts/ Movements, and Pressure)
- Strong presentation skills Proficiency with Microsoft tools (e.g. MS Word, Project, PowerPoint)
