Staff Accountant, Full Time
We're hiring a Full Time Staff Accountant for Tiburon Golf Club!

As an Accountant, you will perform accounting functions and procedures essential to the success of the firm for assigned properties. This position works closely with the Director of Accounting, Senior Accountants, Field Staff and the Troon team. Previous accounting experience is a requirement for the position.
Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with the ability to multi-task and work independently, as needed.

Responsibilities
- Reconciling bank accounts, posting journal entries, and balancing general and subsidiary ledgers
- Performing month-end processes
- Preparation of financial statements including Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, and Cost of Goods Sold Analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Financials statement analysis
- Cash flow forecasting and management
- Sales & Use tax filings
- Payroll reconciliations
- Financial statements audits and reviews
- Perform other accounting functions as directed by senior management
Education and Experience Requirements
- 4-year college degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 3 years accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- CPA (or working towards certification) preferred, but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent computer skills
- Accounting software applications experience (Sage, MAS 500 preferred)
