- This is an on-site position 4 days a week with the option to work from home on Wednesdays.
Responsibilities
- Process lot/land Purchase Agreements within 24 hours of receipt, following standard process.
- Maintain communities, contracts, deposits, and takedowns in Trinity and Land Projector.
- Update lot information in Trinity and True Homes network as needed.
- Process plat recordings as needed.
- Ensure lots are complete prior to purchase date.
- Provide lender and appraiser with all required project details to support the appraisal process loan underwriting for collateralized lots.
- Coordinate closings for lot purchases with attorney and lender prior to the required ownership date.
- Maintain Construction Loan Dashboard with accurate and timely information.
- Prepare and present weekly closing and plat results at Executive/Finance loan review meeting.
- Prepare and distribute monthly closing reports.
- Review Settlement Statements for accurate price, earnest money, homeowners’ association, and tax assessments.
- Attend starts meeting weekly, review dashboard daily for changes.
- Process homeowner architectural requests, as needed.
- Coordinate with land partners to ensure CBUs are installed prior to initial home closings.
- Prepare and submit annual builder property tax exemptions prior to (North Carolina: January 31, South Carolina May 1).
- Update tax rates in the True Homes database annually prior to September 31
- Perform online property research using geographical information systems and on-line register of deeds database.
- Respond to all external and internal inquiries via phone and email or forwards to appropriate party
- Perform other duties as needed or required
- Demonstrates the qualities and character traits as defined in the Sustainable Competitive Advantage
- Obtains financing for a minimum of 2,200 homes annually
- Ensures settlement statements are accurate prior to execution and funding
- Ensures Trinity and Land Projector community, contracts, deposits and takedowns are accurate
- Communicates proactively and provides accurate information to internal and external teams within 24 hours of request
- Maintains Trinity and Land Projector with accurate information
- Completes a minimum of 16 True University credit hours per year
- High school diploma or GED required
- One or more years of administrative experience in a corporate setting
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Notary public license preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, written, and verbal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate the qualities and character traits as defined in the Sustainable Competitive Advantage
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
- Associate needs to occasionally move about the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment
