Our client is an organization in the Waukesha County area looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 5 years of experience, strong business acumen, and excellent leadership skills. This company provides a close-knit team, growing organization, and flexible environment. This position is onsite.
The salary for this job is $80k - $110k.
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead accounting team to manage the day-to-day accounting records.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee accounting procedures, financial reporting, and budget preparation.
- Review financial details for any variances and providing explanations.
- Develop and maintain working relationships across all internal organizations.
- Facilitate training, coaching, and handling of accounting department business.
The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5 years of accounting experience, industry experience is preferred.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of the construction industries preferred.
- Knowledge of general contract review.
- Understanding of different revenue recognition requirements and methods.
- Continuous improvement mindset and an exceptional problem solver.
