Position Overview
The Gift Shop Agent is responsible for the overall guest satisfaction and exceptional customer service by engaging the guests. Must be able to while meet and anticipate guest’s needs.
Position Responsibilities
Assist guest with the purchase of some high end and various souvenirs items- Must be able to work standing for entire shift
- Anticipating and recognizing individual guest needs.
- Must be able to assist in inventory, price check and receiving of merchandise.
- Ability to focus on guest needs.
- Ability to work well under pressure while completing multiple tasks at any given time.
- Maintaining the Gift shop’s cleanliness within its standards
- Must be able to assist the Gift shop manger in all aspects of running the gift shop.
Qualifications and Physical/Mental Requirements
One years previous gift shop experience within a luxury hotel setting preferred. Must be 21 yrs old and must be able to work days, evenings, holidays, and weekends. Excellent communication skills
